Pharmacy Labels

Specialty Printing utilizes a unique top-coated, direct thermal paper for Pharmacy and other special Healthcare labels. This sheet was specially designed for daily exposure to soaps, hand sanitizers, and lotions and has excellent durability with high solvent resistance. Additionally, it can be converted without the need for an overcoat varnish.

This sheet has enhanced image resolution with environmental and heat resistance making it very versatile for most “hands on” applications. It is currently being used in both hospital and pharmacy applications.

Historically, pill bottle labels required heavy varnish for image protection which often affected the pharmacy label image life and resulted in inconsistent quality. In addition, the protective varnish would often flake from heat contact resulting in contamination to printer heads and causing printer jams.

This new sheet, with patented technology, virtually eliminates these problems. The paper has been field tested and proven at major pharmacy chains.
